The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET December 2025 E-Certificates on April 22, 2026.
Candidates who successfully qualified in the examination held from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, can now download their digital certificates from the official website.
These e-certificates serve as official proof of eligibility for various academic positions and opportunities.
The certificates are issued in four distinct categories based on the candidate's qualification status:
(i) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Only,
(ii) JRF with Eligibility for Assistant Professor,
(iii) Eligibility for Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D., and
(iv) Admission to Ph.D. Only.
The UGC NET certificate holds significant value for candidates aspiring to pursue a career in academia or research.
For those qualifying for Assistant Professor positions, the certificate is valid for a lifetime, making it a permanent credential for teaching eligibility in Indian universities and colleges.
In contrast, the JRF award is valid for three years from the date of certificate issuance, during which candidates must secure admission to a recognized Ph.D. program to utilize the fellowship.
How to Download the UGC NET E-Certificate:
To download the certificate, candidates must visit the official NTA UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in or ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
On the homepage, locate the link for "UGC NET December 2025 E-Certificate" or similar.
Click on it and log in using your application number, date of birth, and security code as prompted.
Once logged in, the certificate will be displayed on the screen.
