📌 NTA NEET UG 2026 Admit Card – Complete Exam Day Guidelines & Important Instructions
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully released the NEET UG 2026 Admit Card on April 26-27, 2026. The highly anticipated undergraduate medical entrance examination will be conducted nationwide on Sunday, 03 May 2026 from 02:00 PM to 05:05 PM (IST). Candidates appearing for the exam must carefully read and strictly follow the instructions below. Failure to comply may result in denial of entry or disqualification.
⏰ Section 1: Exam Day Schedule (Strict Timings)

Candidates must bring the following documents to the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to enter without a valid printed admit card and original ID proof.

- Calculator or any computing device – Calculation is not allowed during the exam
- Pager, Walkie-Talkie, or any radio device – Can receive external signals
- Any metallic or hidden camera device – Can capture question paper images

- Geometry box, compass, protractor, scale
- Pencil box or any pouch
- Any paper (including blank or rough paper)
- Books, notes, guides, or printed material
- Scribble pad (will be provided by NTA on the computer)
- Eraser, sharpener, or correction fluid/tape

- Handbag, purse, backpack, or any bag
- Wallet or money (cash)
- Jewelry (rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, nose pins)

- Sunglasses, goggles, caps, hats, or headgear (except religious with prior approval)
- Jacket, hoodie, sweater, shawl (unless medically necessary with certificate)

🔔 Warning: Candidates found carrying any prohibited item will have their candidature cancelled immediately. The decision of the Center Superintendent will be final and binding.
👕 Section 4: Dress Code Guidelines for NEET UG 2026
The NTA has prescribed a specific dress code to ensure smooth frisking and prevent any malpractice.
✅ Recommended Dress (WHAT TO WEAR)
- Male Candidates: Light-colored half-sleeve shirt/t-shirt with light trousers or jeans (no pockets or minimal pockets)
- Female Candidates: Light-colored salwar/kameez, kurti with leggings, or light-colored half-sleeve top with trousers
- Footwear: Sandals, slippers, or open footwear (avoid shoes with thick soles or heavy boots)

- Locate your assigned seat exactly as mentioned on the admit card. Do not sit at any other computer.
- Wait for the invigilator's instructions. Do not touch the keyboard or mouse until instructed.
- Verify your photograph on the computer screen. If it is not yours or is distorted, raise your hand immediately.
- Log in using the credentials provided by the invigilator (if required).
- Read the instructions on the screen carefully before starting the exam.
- Use the digital scribble pad provided on the computer for rough work. You cannot carry your own paper.
- Mark your answers carefully. Double-check before final submission.
- Do not talk or communicate with any other candidate during the exam.

If two or more candidates score the same total marks, the following tie-breaking criteria will be applied in order:
- 1st Priority: Candidate with higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology combined) will be ranked higher

- 3rd Priority: Candidate with higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher
